I've made over ten cranes since the first four I made while learning to create them. The fourth was the one with the secret. I gave them to my parents and to my sister.
Also, we had a Chemistry test this morning and I made four little ones while waiting for the teacher to collect our papers. My classmate told me he'd make it a goal to throw one thousand paper cranes after I told him I sought to make a thousand paper cranes. :(
On an unrelated note, I rewatched King Kong just to see Jamie Bell. He was so cute! I think I'll watch Billy Elliot when I get home.

You might be asking.
I find it strange to write about something that I wish to do for months on end. But since this is an opportunity that I wouldn't want to let go of, here goes.
I started folding paper cranes with the intention of sharing the secrets that I want to tell the world but feel ashamed in doing so. I saw it on Postsecret, to tell you the truth, and I thought it would be a good idea.
So I did. I started making them, and when I got to my fourth one I wrote a secret.
The crane turned out to be really bad.
And I thought, if I gave someone a paper crane and he decided to unfold it and saw that secret, he'd feel bad. Kind of. Or I would, because I gave something really personal. I then decided that sneaking in inspirational things in the form of paper cranes would probably be a little better.
I'm inviting you to join me in my quest to change a thousand lives with paper cranes.
